Freestanding cast iron stoves are closed hearth, which not only emit a pleasant warmth, but are also striking element of interior design.

Unlike fireplace inserts, stoves do not require additional housing, which has an impact on reducing the cost and time of installation. Materials used in the manufacture of stoves are cast iron, steel, ceramic tiles, vermiculite, and grog.

Most stoves are designed to burn wood. It is recommended to use the hard wood of deciduous trees (oak, hornbeam, beech and ash), with humidity up to 20%. The stove is used to heat the room in which it is installed. The heat is emitted by a hot body directly to the room. The place where the stove will be placed should be properly prepared and lined with non-combustible material such as clinker brick, stone, tile or glass. Due to the heat of the body, you must also remember to provide the appropriate distance from objects made  of combustible materials (in accordance with the instructions for use of the product).
