KSR Beta and KSR Beta Plus boilers are reliably suited for everyday use. The boiler body and exchanger 1 have been designed with a view to safeguarding the most efficient heat transfer, maintaining long-term tightness and trouble-free operation. This is a result of applying high quality materials and proven components. For both boiler types, the primary fuel is eco-pea coal, whereas the KSR Beta Plus boiler, thanks to having a burner completely made of cast iron 2, is additionally adapted to fine coal combustion.

 

Cost-effective operation due to advanced technology

These boilers are user-friendly and efficient in use. The application of a retort-type feeder 3, two-stage controller  4 with RS channel communications and a fan enhances the capacity, reduces the failure rate, and also reduces significantly downtime due to boiler maintenance. The ST-37 controller continuously monitors the combustion process optimally supplying fuel and air. It also controls the operation of the central heating and domestic hot water pump and the settings of the room temperature controller.

Precise control enables the set temperature to be reached with a smaller quantity of fuel consumed, which makes the device one of the most economical in use. The RS channel wireless communications makes it possible to fit to the KSR Beta and KSR Beta Plus boilers additional remote control units (Web-and GSM-based boiler control). Meanwhile, the mounting of an additional automatic fire extinguishing system will allow the combustion of pellets.

 




Safe combustion process

Maximum operational safety is guaranteed for the boiler by a number of heat sensors. If the temperature is too high (85-90oC) the heat sensors activate an alarm and switch off the feeder and the fan. When the temperature rises suddenly, the pumps that distribute hot water in the system are activated. The unit also reacts to the overheating of the perpetual screw in the feeder, a lack of fuel or to any problem with reaching the set temperature. The cotter pin in the feeder protects the motoreducer and if the perpetual screw has been blocked, then the cotter pin is broken which protects the boiler effectively against damage.
